The National Clergy Council's boycott of Target Retail stores is only a week old, but already a number of organizations from across the country have responded in support of our actions. Here is a list of corporations and organizations who are helping the Salvation Army get through their eviction from Target.

The following organizations are supporting the Target boycott:

1. Joy Junction - New Mexico's largest homeless shelter
2. American Family Association
3. Concerned Women of America
4.Culture Family Insitute
5. Vote Life America
6. Illinois Family Insititue
7. Republican Young Professionals
8. The Christian Defense Coalition

These companies are now allowing the Salvation Army to bell-ring in front of their stores because of Target's ban. They previously had not supported the SA:

1. Big Lots
2. Kroger Supermarkets
3. Michaels Craft stores
4. Autozone
5. Mervyns - (Mervyns was previously owned by Target and became an independent retailer in September)
6. Coinstar - (the Coinstar change machines now allow you to make a contribution to the SA when counting your change)

These stores are donating extra monies to the Salvation Army to help replace for the revenue lost from Target store fronts:

-Campbell's Soup has made an extra $1 million dollar contribution to help the SA this year.

-Walmart will match all donations this year to the Salvation Army up to one million dollars.
