Rob Schenck participated in the recent Congressional Working Group on Religious
Freedom chaired by his own congressman, Rep. Frank Wolf, (R-10th/VA). Rep. Wolf
has long been an outspoken advocate of religious liberty here and abroad. When
the discussion turned to China’s egregious persecution of Christians and
others, Rep. Wolf gave an impassioned plea to go after that country and “change
its government.” He suggested urging Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
to appoint and new and aggressive undersecretary that will push China on human
and religious rights. We urge all Christians of conscience to contact their
representatives and senators to press them to take action now to stop the heinous
atrocities in China and place real penalties on that government for doing so.
